That's what I decided, a month, wellness check and then we'll see. Zeebo will get no chances taken. Does Baytril have any side affects? I've noticed Z's stool is a lighter colour. He still has no trouble passing though.
The pair are started to turn back to normal grey, and they had crickets last night! (Z has decided he won't eat them) It was so gross. They left back legs all in the tub. *shiver* They smacked them first, it was so cute.

Yep..30 days with new gliders is the minimum recommended...just to make sure nothing is incubating in there somewhere that takes time to show up, and then could infect your guy. I end the quarantine period with urine/fecals/gen exam. Once they have a clean bill of health, they can move in 'next door' and really start getting to know one another. If the room is big enough, you could probably put them in the same room - across the room (far enough away there's no danger of thrown food or waste getting thrown and coming in contact with Zeebo's cage or things) so they can 'talk' to each other. Also make sure to wash thoroughly between handling each glider and their things. I keep a spare shirt when I have gliders in quarantine...and in addition to washing, change clothes in between, so if one of the quarantine gliders went on me, the healthy ones aren't then going to be exposed to anything through contact via the shirt. I set the 'quarantine glider clothes' aside, and put them on each time I handle them, then change to regular ones ( they usually don't need washed every time..only when they get bad enough, lol) for the rest of the babies. One thing I do...I keep 3 tents. One of these is for quarantine gliders only, as are the toys that go with it. That way they can get out of cage time, too, and not put anyone else at risk. Once the quarantine is done, I wash the tent and wash/sterilize the toys, which will be used for the next rescues, or a glider that is ill so the possibility of cross contamination is kept to a minimum. Just thought I'd mention it.

Thanks. We have two bathrooms, which is very convenient as we have bathroom time. I just need to invest in a nightlight, the new pair is more sensitive to light then Zeebo is. I cna't even get away with unscrewing all but one bulb.
So far I make Mike handle the pair because Zeebo is my main concern. When I do handle them its generally right before a shower, which was more coincidence then anything. I didn't think about completely changing, thanks for that tip!

Just an update:
Zeebo has been going very well, it seems he only wants to dangle occasionally while grooming now. I see it in more often then out, so hopefully whatever was causing it is cleared up. It could be the antibiotics from some infection, or some unknown hormone surge. I don't think it was the neutering just yet, because it has been only just one week. Also, to let everyone know, I've talked to a few people who say they have 'danglers' also. Z's biggest issue is that at no point in time through my hawklike watch, did it go all the way back in independently. Apparently, masturbation in male gliders isn't all that uncommon. Although, sleeping with it like a teddy bear is!
Thanks everyone for helping my little man out. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yelclap.gif" alt="" />
