We certainly have been busy here on the board making some changes and some additions. I was shockingly surprised that no one has mentioned the changes that have been made as someone usually always notice when the most minute thing changes. Most of the work and changes have been in the links Database.

First up was the report bad link added to the links database. This will allow members to report a link to the links Tech if they find the link is now longer working. This will also be a good way to let us know if a vet is no longer seeing sugar gliders. You can read more about that here

Second on the list is the addition of google maps in the links database. This will be beneficial mostly in the area of the vet database. The option to have a map is coded into every link both new and old. If you have an existing link and would like to be up on the map, please edit your link to add your info. Linda and I will be starting the long process of editing the 400+ veterinarians we have listed in our vet database to add the address information so the maps will work in their links. We have also done some work behind the scene in the database and will continue doing so for some time. We have been making some changes and the search engines have already noticed and are indexing the entire database. We have notice a lot more traffic coming through which we are happy to see.

The last change was the biggest one, and took me a few days to get everything right. I recoded the links database to look as much as the forum and default style the forum uses. This was not easily done since both are coded very differently. The side columns work as they do on the forums and all info in them are as current as the ones on the forums. In an effort to make all of our resources look the same throughout the site, I have also started to do the same in the gallery. The gallery is also coded differently so it is going to take some time to get everything 100%. I still need to do work on the header and also make some buttons for the gallery. Thank you for your patience with any issues you may see while I am making those changes.

I added more active text as we do with Perfect Pocket Pets. Any time someone types these following words in a post, it will be rewritten on the fly linking it to the proper section in the links database. These were added to further help everyone, especially new members find our links database. We will be adding more, but here is what we have added so far:

diets
mill breeder
mill-breeder
rescues
rescue

We hope that everyone likes these changes. We will always continue to make changes to continue to make this site the best it can be. We have evolved so much over the years and we thank everyone who is apart of the GliderCENTRAL family that keeps us moving forward.

i love this site. it told me what tests to ask for when
my suggie had an abcess. there are great breeders on here,
i only wish i would of known abt this site when i got
my first 2.
i have learned almost everything i know from this site and
it is very manageable to get around.
