Wake up times and feeding habits.... - 10/03/19 06:01 PM
Hello fellow Glider lovers!
I apologize if I am posting too much. Things are coming up that I would love expert advice on....
Wake up times.... They seem to be waking up later and later every night. The room and the lighting is the same as the first night when they woke up at 9:30 pm. Each night since though they have been waking up later and later, last night they came out of the pouch at 11:20! They come out any later we'll be in bed already and won't be able to interact with them as much.
Is there anything we can gently do to encourage an earlier wake up time? They are still awake when we go to work, they go to bed at about 8:30 am, so at least we get to see them in the morning for a little bit while we are getting ready for work. Would love a little extra time at night with them though.
The other question I have is in regards to their eating. Each morning the staple is 100% gone and so is most of the salad. When we come by their house though they go to the almost empty plate and look at us like they're starving. I feel so bad but I know they can overeat, so I don't want to give them too much, you know. We have witnessed a little bit of food stealing, but not bad. They both seem hungry though, not just one. We give them the amount of staple and salad for babies. Not sure what to do. I have been giving them a tiny bit more of the veggies in the morning for now... and they do eat it.
So this weekend, starting Friday night, I am going to stay up the whole night and observe how much each eats and when. It is still a little difficult to tell them apart but we do our best.
Thank you soooooooo much for reading...
