stress and apple vinegar - 06/08/06 12:07 PM

I read somewhere that when gliders are stressed, they can be given a mixture of water, apple vinegar, and molasses. Is this safe and is it effective? Just curious...

To be honest with you , I have never heard of this remedy before

What kind of stress are you talking about? Maybe this would help with coming up with an answer.

I found the link! I guess apple vinegar is used like an antibiotic. Here it is:

Does anybody use this as suggested at this website?

My Grandma uses this weekly with Honey though, not molasses. She drinks a glass to keep her healthy. So it's good for people and gliders.

I have always added a couple drops to each water bottle to kill any bacteria. So far, so good.
