Hey all, I'm new to the boards and am confused about the color variations and the abbreviations for them.

thanks!

No it is a golden coloring around the head and neck (if I understand correctly). I think it is difficult to tell, but there are some people that can tell a 'true' lion from another glider.

PL=Platinum
Cino=Cremino (I believe please correct me if I'm wrong)
PLH=Platinum het
that's all I remember LOL besides the ones already listed. I personally don't understand the difference between a lion and a blond

LOL I don't know the exact spelling but it means they possibly carry the gene to produce that color. Leu hets are the most common that I know of.

right. and the percentage of het they are is the percentage chance they can be a 100% het and possibly produce a leu. It's all pretty complicated to me LOL but that's from what I understand.

Het=heterozygous - meaning (in simple terms) that they carry the gene but do not express it.
