Black gliders?

Has there ever been an all black glider? A friend asked me today so I thought I'd pose the question. I don't know what it would take genetics wise but he thought it would be pretty neat. I guess that would be too much of a stand out in the wild? What about black panthers........... dunno

black panthers actually ARE camoflaged for the areas they live in

no, to my knowledge an all black glider does not exist, however, there are some REALLY dark black beauties out there

I've only seen one *really* dark glider. These pictures are not mine and were not taken by me.

A have to admit, a black glider would be cool. But I don't know if we'll be seeing one anytime soon. Love the pictures StitchsMom. Very nice find... wink

bb and if so what their babies look like(how dark).
