Tattoo

I have found a tattoo artist who is willing to do a sugar glider but I can't seem to find or have an idea as to what I want...LOL Does anyone have pics or ideas? Please help me.

My personal belief: everything should come from YOUR head. Even if others have ideas, I didn't let anyone influence me with my tattoos and I love them since they are truly unique. They were a product of constant sketching and designing for years and I finally got them when I was satisfied with everything that I thought of.

What helped me get an idea, was to picture the tattoo in my head. What's the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of a tattoo? Are there decorations, is there a scene behind it...and with that start drawing ideas. Doesn't matter if you can't draw, that's what an artist is for! Once you come up with something that comes from you, then all the artist has to do is stylize it for you into a tattoo

I would try and think of what exactly you love about your glider and try and use that to come up with a design. Do u want one sitting, curled up, on a brach, just its face? Do u want flowers or butterflies or stars? Even if ur not good at drawing come up with the best sketch u can so its easier to describe to a tattoo artist, and then they can draw it up. If u dont like it.. then they can just start a new one. Most artists love it when u let them draw it up and be creative, I think some of the best tatoos come out that way!

I would love to get a tattoo of all of my gliders on me, but then I worry... What if I get more!? Then they'll have to be somehow added. D:

I had thought of getting a tattoo of one of my gliders climbing on my leg. Nothing else on/around it, just the glider. But decided against it.

Here is the top of my Back Tattoo. There's a knot in the tree. The knot is in the shape of my very first joeys, Alice and Cooper. Alice only lived a day and Cooper a week. Cooper and I worked at it for a week. My heart was broken.

This tattoo covers my back. Shoulders to booty crack. LOL! I've had several surgeries and all are covered by a tattoo. People would always say OMG! what happened to your back. (when they would see my scares.) Now, it's can I see your back. That's Amazing.

Wow Johanna that is a huge tattoo. I like it. There is no way I could get a big tattoo like that. I have 2 tattoos and want to add 2 more and then I think I am done.

If I could justify spending the money I would get a heart above my left breast with little glider and parrot tracks going across it and up over my shoulder.

I've been thinking about a glider related tattoo but I wouldn't know what to do and where to put it. Awesome tats guys!

I have thought about that but I have found that every sugar glider tattoo I've seen I really dont like. I think it would only work in a tribal like style (for my taste at least)

Well Steph everyone has different taste and opinions. Like I tell my family if we all liked the same thing it would be a boring world. So, to each his own and maybe one day you will find something that appeals to you.

Thank you so much. I will have to try and get the whole thing. That's just the top part. It may take a little while I just had my 3rd lower lumbar fusion. The scar hasn't smoothed back out. I'm a little lumpy. LOL

i like outline tattoos, i took a pic of one of my girls and put tracing paper over it and traced the outline and some of the details. looks super cute!!! maybe thats somthing you could try with one of your babies

I want a tattoo of my first colored glider and first glider from a breeder. Romeo <3 I'd love to get tats of all of them but I'm afraid I'll run out of room should I get more lmao!
