New Classified Alert System - 08/31/07 08:23 PM
We have been tossing around an idea of how to Alert our members to be cautious when doing business with people either selling products or gliders but who may not warrant a full Colony Alert Status. A warning stronger than our disclaimer.
What we have decided to do is create another sub-forum: one each for Glider Ads and Glider Things. We decided to use this format rather than stickies because we think it will be more effective and can be color coded.
This forum will be used to list members on GliderCENTRAL who have sold or bought items through GliderCENTRAL's Classifieds. This list will be compiled of those who do not warrant a colony alert, but for the protection of our members need to be listed to use caution when dealing with a vendor. The members on this list are those who no longer have permission to posts ads anywhere on GliderCENTRAL. As with Colony Alert, sufficient documented proof needs to be submitted to GliderCENTRAL admin. At that time we will review such proof and make a decision if they will be added to the list. Please remember, the sale in question needed to take place through our classified system of the board.
Noone will be placed on this list who has had their Ad locked for Rule violations or has been temporarily banned for Rule Violations.
