Why are gliders illegal in some states.I would imagine because of climates in some states and populating.Just wondering any information helps

I'm not really sure either, because I thought climate at first too but then when I looked into what states they are legal in I realized that the climates in those states can be much more dangerous to gliders than those of the said "illegal" states. So I would love to hear some reasoning behind this also.

Someone had told me before that California was afraid of them being introduced to the wild and ruining the ecosystem. Some states don't think they make good pets and should be kept in the wild. There are just different reasons.

Sometimes they just get lumped into the category of "exotics" (which they are).
