Ohio's new exotic animal ban - 09/06/12 03:35 PM

The Ohio Dangerous Wild Animal Act went into effect September 4, 2012 and does not include sugar gliders. If you click on the link provided, you will see the animals that are included in this act and what provisions need to be made.

Dangerous wild animals
  • Large cats
  • Bears
  • Elephants
  • Certain monkeys
  • Rhinos
  • Alligators
  • Crocodiles

Restricted snakes
  • Anacondas and pythons (longer than 12 ft)
  • Vipers
  • Certain venomous snakes

Happy to hear that they are making it harder to own dangerous animals. clap

Agreed.So many wild and exotic animals that people think are so cool go to such bad homes where they aren't loved or properly cared for.Go Ohio

I have been on track with this since this all happened and people keep saying that it includes all exotic animals. Well lets just say that I get so tired of repeating myself telling them it is only for the dangerous ones grrrrrrr. If these fuzzbutts ever become dangerous we are all in trouble :roflmao2: :haha:
