legal in NJ? and how about license - 07/30/08 01:52 AM
Well, we already established that Pocket pets is horrible...and that I fell into their trap.
My question is....
Did they at least do the right thing by telling me they are legal in NJ and they had me sign a paper to get a license. They send in the one they have for me.
...any opnions if THIS was done right?

they are legal in NJ, but you don't need a license unless you have more then 3 females

Actually I am fairly sure that NJ has a license that is required by the state for ownership.

The only reason I remembered was because of a NJ resident I used to talk to a lot.
If I remember correctly, it isn't a difficult permit to obtain, and relatively inexpensive. I am not sure if PP did what they were supposed to do or not. Contact the fish and wildlife division and ensure everything was done properly.
