To purée or not to purée?? - 01/27/17 04:56 PM
Hi! I have noticed that alot of owners are pureeing their gliders fruits and veggies (me included). On this forum though, I'm starting to see that some are recommending that you not puree. Due to our gliders intaking fiber that they can't and normally dont digest? With my 2 boys (soon to be neutered and platinums) I use HPW along side a serving of pureed veggies amd fruit mixes. I purée because they will not eat any veggies for me. Their last owner fed them a not so great diet...they were very stained and a little scrawny. Now their weight is great but their coats are still crackled and a little stained still (not near as bad as they were!) I have a humidifier and I clean and swap out everything in their cage daily. Am I having trouble because I'm pureeing their food? Btw...we've never had any tummy or weight issues. Just how bad of an idea is the pureeing for them..I'm worried now.
Thinking about switching to the critterlove diet also...Could that help?
Thanks!!
