One glider died/New Diet?

One of my rescues female gliders I got 4 years ago we found her barely breathing in cage Saturday morning . My daughter and her friend did cpr and got a heartbeat and more heavy rapid breathing I took her to ER but they said she seems too far gone so I instructed them to euthanize her to end her suffering . They told me the heavy fast breathing happens because she was so cold already that it was the stage before dying . I’m not sure what happened makes me so sad now my Benny is alone again .

Now I’m worried what was wrong so I’m going to get my Benny seen this week to make sure he is ok .

I’m thibking of switching him to a new diet too . All he eats is corn and sometimes peas he is very selective . Also had him on candy’s diet forever but reading a lot about critter complete and salads ? Any thoughts ?
