I wouldn't use anything that wasn't FDA compliant. The mesh you have the link for is non compliant and could be toxic to your sugar gliders.

The hole width on the product description is 0.75 inch which means a glider could either squeeze through it - or get their head through and become entrapped in the mesh.
The black plastic hardware cloth sold in the garden section at Lowe's or Home Depot has 1/2 inch holes and is safer for making glider cages or toys.
Ok I wont use it then. Could someone please post a link to the hardware cloth from lowes or home depot that is safe? I want to make sure I get the right thing.

Lowe's
http://www.lowes.com/pd_157763-13113-751397_1z0wg62Z1z10uc4__?productId=3457514&pl=1This can be cut with scissors. Cut close to the edge to remove small sharp nubs left behind if you cut down the middle of a row of holes.

If you can't cut it close enough, you can probably use a lighter to melt the sharp spots smooth.
