Sewing questions--bonding pouch windows - 11/19/15 09:53 PM
I am currently making a new fleece cage cover and thought after that I would make a bonding pouch. Both the bonding pouches I have are single layer fleece with exposed seams. They aren't unraveling, but I want a seamless, double-layer fleece bonding pouch. So, my question has to do with the windows:
I don't really like the idea of having a double layer of mesh, but that seems to be the way everyone does it. So I'm wondering...if the mesh is stitched to the outer layer of fleece, could it be attached to the inside layer of fleece with a strong-hold webbing (like Stitch Witchery)?
Does anyone know if there are instructions anywhere for a single mesh window in a double-layer fleece bonding pouch?
Thanks!
