I also have ordered the lrg sturdy cage from them, and I have looked into that particular travel cage. I have considered it on and off for some time now. I currently have a Glide-arium, which I really like for a lot of reasons and it has served my gliders well for extended days (over 3 days), when traveling across country (twice).
However, I ordered the glide arium specific in size for my two girls that would fit well in my pop up camper. I then got a boy, which made three and I no longer have a pop up. Even so, they did all do fairly well on those extended trips.
But I still often consider these because I liked the idea of what they offer, I just haven't made up my mind to order one at this time.
So, after all that being said, I do think it's a worth while expense to go with if you do not already have another option. My dealings with Sun Coast Gliders has been very well, I also agree a trustworthy source.
My glide-arium set up for the road trip return across country.
The carrying travel cage (belted in car during travel) holds a sleeping pouch, water silo, and at meal time their food dishes. At night, the cage is placed in the glide arium with a fleece strip tied to the roof door so they don't get locked in or out. Fleece vines are wrapped around the top pvc pipes where toys can be hung.
