Reptarium sizes - 06/08/06 08:11 PM

Hello

I'm thinking about getting a reptarium for travelling with my gliders. I've found a place that sells them over here, but I'm totally confused as to what size would be best.

I'm going to have 2 gliders, and the sizes they have to offer are:

22 Gallon Reptarium - £24.99
38 Gallon Reptarium - £29.99
65 Gallon Reptarium - £39.99
100 Gallon Reptarium - £59.99
175 Gallon Reptarium - £69.99
260 Gallon Reptarium - £89.99

Help?

I have a 260 - I can get in it with them if that tells you anything...and I am not a small person! They all set up about the same. What size cage do you have? I would get one close to that size or the 260 just for fun! Most will say bigger is better in this case! They are easy to set up and take down and machine washable.
Have fun!

i agree a 260 i had for my iguana and it was very roomy for her and she was pretty large so for 2 gliders they would have a blast.... and they are real easy to put up and take down super simple....

I have the 65 gallon repts and wish I had gone atleast to the 100 gallon size. The 65 is fine for two gliders for a travel cage but well, bigger is always better.

I just got my first Reptarium last week and think it's the best thing since sliced bread .

I got the 260 gal and it is so big and the gliders LOVE it.. the thing is that a bigger one won't really take up more floor space than a smaller one but it is so much taller.

The 260 is 2.5 X 2.5 X 6 feet and a 175 gal is 2.5 X 2.5 X 4 feet.

For the other sizes I only have the inches:
38 gal: 16.5 X 16.5 X 30"
65 gal: 16.5 X 30 X 28"
100gal: 16.5 X 30 X 48"

I just got my 65 gal reptarium in the mail yesterday I will only be using it as a travel cage, and I was actually thinking that I'm glad I went with the smaller size. I'm not sure how the 260 gal would fit in a hotel room...

I have a 260 gallon reptarium and my suggies (and me)love it! The more room the merrier. They will love having all the extra room to glide and play and you will love being able to get in their with them. It is fun to come up with all sorts of clever ways to decorate and did I mention the room???? lol!

I have a 260gal reptarium also. The bigger the better. If you are using this as permanant housing, you need to at least get a 100gal or larger.

I personally would recommend against the 65 gallon size, it's just not set up very well for gliders... I used to use the 38 gallon size for travel cages. For a perminant cage, 100 gallon size or bigger would be best.
