I was wondering who had some ideas for some cheap found around the home toys, just to keep her interested in stuff. (Not like she's spoiled or anything already!) Any ideas?

There are a lot of fun toys around the house. One of the ones we recently discovered is plastic straws filled with yogurt then frozen. They had hours of fun with it and it was cheap.

A wadded up ball of paper with hidden mealworms inside make a great and fun toy and a treat. (Also makes a great tent time toy) Another favorite toy around here is cut up paper tube rolls in a plastic bowl. We usually use paper towel rolls with no glue, cut into 2-3 inch sections, and then cut across so they can't get stuck. Also, hidden treats inside of plastic easter eggs...another big hit. It is especially fun to watch them learn how to open them. (We usually hide vanilla yogurt treats inside them, or mealworms)

They can smell that a treat is inside the egg AND open them!?

Mine haven't been able to open them - they try, then get frustrated. But if I pop the egg open a bit, they figure it out, and you should see a glider with an easter egg on it's head (mine have hinges)!

Oh how CUTE! I'll have to get the ones with hinges then because I can already imagine it! Great time of year for the Easter egg toy tip!
