White Face vs White Face Blonde - 05/25/15 02:54 AM
So I was looking at this joey and trying to figure out what color he is. He definitely is a white face, but the gray on his body is like a silver color. When I was reading about the blonde characteristic it didn't seem to match. Can anyone clarify?
I'd take pictures, but the little bugger won't hold still.

Here's one about WFB and the WF gene...
http://www.glidercentral.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/860654/Super_WFBs#Post860654It gets a little confusing because it goes way into genetics but "WF" is a mutated gene and from my understanding can appear in many of the color variations(except BB, that's kinda what makes them a "black beauty")
But if I'm wrong, please correct me so that I can have further understanding on this(Genetics is my weakness).

wf have different varations, wfb has a golden tone to the glider, wf silver and a wf that has the grey coat.
i have had wf joeys but never a wfb coloring joey.

Ok. That was super helpful! Thanks!
So is the WF gene supposed to be dominant? If you have a WF glider will it always have WF joeys?

A WF glider will produce WF joeys 50% of the time - but it is possible that the glider carries two copies of the dominant gene so ALL of its joeys would be WF.
If the WF has one joey that is not WF then you will know that there is a 50% chance of any joey showing the trait.
