Alright, trying not to be worried, but I am. Asami and Mako have another set of Joeys IP and she is now a more respectable 10 months. Today I took her and her hubby out to hang with her and she had one of the joeys hanging out of her pouch and she was cleaning him, purring. I'd already given a couple of mealies at this point and she didn't seem upset at all. Baby was still attached, but he was so tiny. He's only about 2-3 weeks along cooking in there.

I put them back once I'd noticed. Didn't want to stress her out. Anybody else have girlies who do this with their joeys? I looked it up and down, but couldn't find anything.

Most people don't see it, but this is how mom keeps the babies and pouch clean. Totally normal. thumb

If we never loved, then maybe we would never feel pain. Love anyway. It's worth it.

Oh good. I'd just never heard of it before, so I was a little worried. Just checked on her and she tucked the little guy back in. smile

I had to LOL, I have been breeding a long time but I remember one night I was in the tent with Taz and Sadie about 6 years ago and Roxy was on the cage bars watching. She opened her pouch like a curtain and showed me 2 joeys attatched to the nipple she cleaned them and tucked them back in, I was floored!
