A joey will stop eating when it's full so you don't have to worry about overfeeding. However, if the belly starts to appear bloated - then an immediate trip to the vet is necessary... but it doesn't sound like that's what's happening in your case, so no worries there smile I'm glad to hear the joey is no longer dehydrated. Please don't hesitate to call me if you need me, though.

My baby passed over rainbow bridge during the night.cry I am pretty sure his belly bloated. He seemed fine up until I went to sleep. The next time I woke up to feed him he wouldn't eat and his tummy still looked completely full. Having never had joeys before I don't know what a full joey belly is supposed to look like compaired to one that is starting to bloat. He seemed a little cool since I found him outside of the pouch in his incubator, I put him in my bra and when I woke up the next time he had curled up against me and passed away. His tummy was very bloated looking.

I'm so very sorry cry Take comfort in the fact that you gave him a chance at life and he lived a bit longer than he would have without your help heart He's now at the Rainbow Bridge romping and playing with all those that have gone before him mlove
