SUNSET ANIMAL HOSPITAL they are great. They take care of my Gliders Sutton and Suzie. They have seen other Gliders and I know this because they freaked out and were all prepared to get bitten when they found out I was there to have a wellness check done on my Sutton and Suzie. lol They always tell me now that I have the sweatiest most friendliest Gliders they have ever seen there. I try to tell them that there are other people friendly Suggies out here but they swear they have not seen any as sweet and nice as Sutton and Suzie are. I have now included Sunset Animal Hospital in my "Take the Gliders out to Socialize with stringers route". Once or Twice a month I take them out to "socialize" We visit the Columbia Animal Shelter, Forest Acres Police Department, Lugoff Fire Department, Sunset Animal Hospital and a couple of pet stores.
A SC Get Together in the Columbia Area would be great. I say Columbia because it's in the middle of the State so folks North and South can all meet in the middle. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming WOOOO HOOOO, WHAT A RIDE!!!

Typically I'm a reptile keeper and breeder, but have slowed down in the reptile department as of late and have taken a large interest in sugar gliders. Been reading up for weeks on them, havn't bothered posting here yet.
I've got the diet and everything worked out. Still glider proofing my house. Got the tent and a few other toys and whatnot together already, still arguing paying the price for a reptarium or just building my own (which I have done for reptiles 50 times over). 4 feet tall, 2.5 feet long, 1.5 feet deep. Wooden frame and mesh outside with the entire front being an opening door with 2-3 latches down the front. That is the plan for the cage unless I find out mesh prices are sky high(which I doubt).
But regardless, within the next 3-4 weeks I was planning on buying one, and was wondering if any of you know a SC reputable breeder I could speak to? I'm willing to pay the full cost, not looking for a deal, just looking for a decently bread animal, not some pet store abuse. Your help is much appreciated, thanks! Jacob Kable~

Hello. Is this place still active?? I am in upstate SC, in the Greenville County area. Don't see too many gliders in this area, but I have 2 wonderful rescues, Sugar & Nibbles, and I'd love to get together to make toys and stuff!!
Hi Sari. I'm in Greenville and Ive currently got NINETEEN gliders! There are several people in the area with gliders. Once I get settled in (I'm in the process of moving to Greer) I'll schedule a little get together and we can make some glider goodies, etc.
