That IS wonderful news Missy! You guys have done an amazing job with him, truly a labor of love. I can only imagine how he was without the collar, even if briefly... kinda' like the first time I brushed my teeth after my braces were taken off! (And I remember it well - was in my 30's!) I'm so glad you are finally on the downhill side of that mountain you've been climbing!

Thanks nancy. LOL he was so shocked at the freedom he didnt move for a bit lol. I gave him a pecan to eat and he would not hold it! He was so used to me doing it for him lol.

We need to do a little "happy feet" thing for gliders getting out of e-collars after long stints! Magellan has been out of his for 3 weeks now (since just before the Ohio gathering...lost track of time) & he's slowly gaining weight back again. Now he's up to 104.

Good news all! Keoni is now out of his collar and doing great! I didnt feel it was fair to leave keoni by himself till blanco peppers joey is weened so i went ahead with my plans on intros to gizmo and hunni my non breeding pair. They went well and he is now with them. He is so happy to be with glider again. As soon as Blanco is weened i will start intros with pepper to them. I dont for see any probs. Keoni and gizmo were my biggest worry but they hit it off well. Im so happy at the outcome of this. I will get a pic of his belly tomorrow to show his wound or the lack of.

Yea, I can't wait for Blanco to be here and for Pepper to be back with her man
