I just lined a a large denim purse with fleece, using velcro, to make a carry pouch for my family of 4. My husband wondered about the glue on the velcro so I'm asking, because I don't know. Can anyone tell me if the smell ofthe glue on the velcro will affect gliders in any way?

Oh... I'm very sorry but I don't know the answer to this. I personally have never used velcro, but one of the vendors who do use it will be along with some info. I think most of them sew on the velcro instead of using the sticky stuff.
I can't imagine any chemicals being good for them and glue is notoriously dangerous when inhaled.

For now I wouldn't use it if you can smell it.

I don't know about this one. You may want to get the velcro that you sew on rather than stick on just to be safe tho.

Yeah...I actually have decided to sew the lining on rather than use any velcro. I am buying a sewing machine this week..now I just need to learn how to use it!
