I have a wodent wheel that Snuffels absolutely loves to play with at night. unfortunetly, the cage is in my room and the Wodent Wheel makes alot of noise. I have the bottom of it tied to the floor of the cage so it won't move around. The bolts are freshly lubricated. Its not the actual wheel itself that makes the noise. Its the moving of the wheel that makes the cage rattle. Is there a way I can attach the wheel to the side of the cage mounted or what else can I do to reduce some noise ? I know its not going to be silent but a little less noise will help me sleep at night !

P.S. For some reason the noise started as soon as I added the trimming paper. When Snuffels first used it, it made a little noise but it didn't bother at all. Now that I added the trimmer it rattels so much !!!! HELP.

i know i know.. try having a folded cloth or folded piece of fleece tied between the wheel and cage ground. it helps with the rumbling of the wheel on the cage. =)

oh the folded cloth i think would be a great idea!!

i have a wheel in my little lady's cage. and it's 12" and she's been trying to use it. she loves it, but i don't know if she really knows HOW to use it.

she'll be running get up some speed, then jump and hang onto the side of the wheel and spin around on it like a "ride" lol..

Azoray, she knows how to use it! That's how mine do it too! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
072304, is it still doing it without the trimming paper in there? You're only supposed to leave that in there for a day or two.
