I was wondering when I make pouches if I could use a mesh fabric to make the peek-a-boo window? If I can't mesh, what can I use?!? I just want to make sure I am doing this right!! Thank you for all of your help. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

You can buy the screen material that most people use in their pouches at Lowe's or Home Depot. I think it's called pet screen. It's a nylon type and not metal so it's easily sewn through. It's not that expensive. I think it's like $14 a roll if even that much and it goes a long, long way.

Can you post a photo of the fabric you are thinking of using? If it is similar to the athletic mesh fabric then it is fine to use but only for bonding time. It is best to not use it in sleep pouches. Hope that made sense.

I was thinking about using the atheletic mesh in a bonding pouch. I work at Lowes so I'll see if we have the pet screen. Thank you for your help ... I couldn't find a picture of the athetic mesh fabric.

When I make my pouches I use the clear plastic from the fabric store for the window. I make sure to trim close to the stitching. That way they can't get their toes caught.
