I read somewhere that it was okay to feed gliders chicken with bone? is that true? I never feed it to my dog because i know chicken bone splinter easy... wouldnt that be the same when gliders chew them? what is a really cool food i can feed every now and then aside the Blended diet and fresh fruits and veggies i feed daily? and of course the mealies and sunflower seeds they get every other day as treats thanks in advance

Gliders love chicken. I wouldn't give them anything with the small bones. Once in a while we will give our gliders a boiled "drumette", the leg-like piece of the wing (comes in bags of chicken wings). They can't splinter that, and they have a great time gnawing on the chicken. We only give them that the night before I plan to clean the cage. They can make quite a mess!

My gliders get the turkey necks I boil to make gravy at Thanksgiving and Christmas. I boil them with out salt, pull off the meat I can that I add to my gravy, and the gliders get the rest. They polish off every scrap of meat and appear to play with the cleaned off bones afterward. I find the bones all over the cage. Thanksgiving dinner - Monk & his daddy Kanobles

I usually give each cage a small amount of avocado when I have one to make avocado salad. I probably make that once about every 2 months because I usually end up eating most of it myself - and I do not need it.

My gliders get 'junk food' nights, and on those nights they get avocado because they just love it so much. Junk food nights aren't common, but they certainly aren't rare. Last night was one of those nights, and the last time (prior) was about 4 weeks ago, so we average about once per month.

I give my gliders chicken bones quite regularly. They LOVE them.
The splintering bones are not really an issue for them, since they are just cleaning out the marrow.
I also give them turkey neck bones and chicken neck bones. They do love them! They are so adorable with their chicken treat nights!

The problem with corn is it is high in phosphorous. But if they have a balanced diet, they can have a nibble or two.
