Has anyone ever used their tent during the daytime? I don't mean for play time or anything, but just as a safety net to get the gliders into your shirt, etc. I don't feel that the bonding pouch really allows me to bond much with my gliders, so I want to try to get them to sleep in my shirt/bra. However, I don't know how they will react initially, so the tent idea popped into my head. Has anyone used the tent to get their babies more accustomed to you? Or should I just wait to put them in my shirt when they are more bonded to me? Tough process. frown

that seems to be a good idea but, I would say if within a half hour they don't settle down and sleep I would try again the next day not good to have them up while they should be sleeping smile

I may have to try it tomorrow. I figured that might encourage them to find a place to sleep on me, since they will be sleepy

This is how i bonded with My girls Lina and Penny. I NEVER used a bonding pouch with either of them. Penny was 4 months when i got her so not a little tiny joey any more and she was a sweetie from the begining and took to my shirt right away. However Lina was 8 weeks oop when i got her and was a "wild child". The first couple days i got the blanky from her cage pouch and wrapped her in it and put it down in my bra, it looked funny but was worth it. After a couple days i of that i put her in my bra and put the blanky over top of her for the scent until she was good and passed out and then took it off. She has been a bra baby ever since. Now im starting the process ALL over with my 2 new baby girls, Cricket and Bella!

It sounds like a good idea to me, I do morning tent time with my boy and he crawls into my shirt when he is done... But mine have been bra babies from the start... I hope it goes well, keep us updated. smile

This can definitely be done to make sure there are no escapes.

I did this with one of my babies. It gave him more freedom to just ease his way to me. I love tent time! :hdance:
