What is everyones take on mixing a proteind powder into the ensure? And does any any calcium supplement suffice? Thanks! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

I am not too familiar with that diet, but if it doesn't call for mixing a protein powder in it, I wouldn't. I would also think the gliders would enjoy eating chicken meat or whatever solid protein source rather than lapping up a protein powder.

I'm guessing any calcium supplement would suffice (if you mean name brand). I see by the this site and this site, basically the same, that she uses Ruger's. It looks like people use either calcium carbonate or calcium citrate.

Protein powder is not necessary if you provide your gliders with mealies or chicken each day.

I use RepCal as my calcium supplement... mixed with lory nectar to make it taste better. See my website (link below) for more diet details.
