My Lulu has a joey in her pouch but she is very young and small. She is 10 months oop. I am not sure how long she has had the joey in her pouch. The bump is about the size of a gum ball. I am not sure if she should be on a special diet.

I am also looking for someone in my area that can help. I live in Clearwater Fl.

What diet are you feeding currently?

I just had a female that isn't 8 months old yet have twins come OOP and she is doing great. They won't drop babies IP unless they are ready.

I increased their food for enough for three gliders as soon as I new she had joeys IP.

I feed HPW Plus with fruits and veggies. There are several accepted diets out there, just click on the word diet and it will take you to the data base with all the diets in there.

Do not take the male out as he will help her with the joeys as soon as they come OOP.

Please feel free to ask more questions in this thread, I will do my best to help you and if I can't answer you I will find someone who can.

I am giving the HPW plus as well with fruits, veggies and a couple of meal worms. She is healthy but she is tiny. I will keep you up to date. I wish I knew how far along she is.

Thank You

Just make sure you are offering her a bit more of all aspects of the diet. There is no need to offer her anything else, or change diets. wink

They are very picky about fruit still working on figuring out which they will eat. If you have any ideas let me know.

I wanted to give an update. My joey came out and we have a beautiful little girl. Her name is Arlie. Her OOP was yesterday. She is 12 grams. Is this a good size?

Yes, 12 grams sounds good. My last two joeys were 13 and 15 grams at 2 days out of pouch.

Just make sure to give them an extra serving of food so she can continue to make enough milk for her joey.
