I have an 18 month old girl that I got 4 weeks ago, she has been a biter since day one. Just when I thought she was getting better, my daughter who is bonding very well with her I must say, was letting Bella sleep in her shirt. We'll when Bella woke up she was climbing around on my daughters back and up to her shoulder. My daughter said "Mom she is licking me, it tickles" we thought it was so sweet, untill......my daughter with gritted teeth (did not freak out) said Mom get her please she is biting me and it hurts really bad. I couldn't help but laugh lol I went to my daughter and distracted Bella to get her in a pouch. I checked my daughters shoulder and it looked just like my hand did when Bella got 2 handfulls of skin and started chowing down... very painful but also funny. Why is Bella loving the taste of human flesh?

Some people think it is grooming gone a little out of control or possibly the salt taste of humans. It could also be that she starts licking and realizes she does not like the taste of a particular scent on the body from the shower soap, shampoo, body sprays/oils, perfumes or any number of things.
Most of us try to be as scent free as possible when handling our gliders.
Then again, some gliders simply go through a biting/tasting phase which can be extremely frustrating. Sometimes a tsk tsk stern 'no' will get them to stop. If that doesn't work, you will have to remove the glider as you did because, as you said, it is painful. Be sure to clean the area so as you would any wound.
So sorry so is being a little over zealous and hope it stops soon.
