Does anyone leave lights on for their Gliders at night? I assume they don't need them, but wondering if they prefer them.
Also, do Sugar Gliders like tunnels at all. I was thinking about the 4" corregated pipe.

Gliders should have light on during the day, but not at night since they are nocturnal. They can see just fine in the dark. However, if you interact with them at night, you can use a red light to allow you to see them a bit better, but they don't need light at night.

As for tunnels, I've never used them. If you do, then ensure that you can easily reach into them to get them out in an emergency. I would only use short ones so I could access them at any time rather than a long one that you can't reach them.

Ok, Thanks. I wasn't sure if they would like tunnels, but seems like they probably don't.

I have 3 sections of Ferret 'Funnels' in each of my glider cages. They are 4 inch diameter tubes with holes for ventilation. I can easily reach the gliders inside the tubes plus they are clear enough for me to see my gliders when they are in the tube.
