Hello smile I am newer to this community so bear with me wink
I currently have a breeding pair that's joey just came out of pouch today (yes I do have lineage :)) I was taking him to handle him and weigh him and he started crying for mama. As soon as he did the gliders in one of the other cages (mommy, neutered son, and daughter) all got out of their pouch and the mom started kinda getting in an argument with her neutered son. They were of course in the cage and I took baby to another room to weigh him and they stopped once they couldn't hear the crying anymore. I am wondering if anyone could tell me why this happened? From now on I will be taking him and his parents in a different room when I handle them (they have their own room) but I am still curious as to why this happened. Thank you smile

More than likely they were just curious about the new sounds coming from the baby.

I agree with KarenE, they were trying to find out who the new kid is.
