my girls have always nursed each other's babies but one of my females just weened her baby and does not have any visible others and the other has twins just off the nipple and my glider who just weened her baby pouched one of the twins!is that normal?

As long as the baby is healthy and getting fed I think it would be okay. Since sharing joeys is normal for your trio I would think your other mama "borrowing" the twin baby is fine. The baby is not being harmed but in fact being taken care of by 2 mamas.

I would ask someone with experience breeding trios. I've only studied breeding, haven't actually bred any gliders yet.

I noticed both babies drinking from their momma this morning and then the other momma pouching one of the babies so they could all go play. I joey sit alot for this trio so it should not have surprised me it was just the first time I noticed the joeys being pouched by a different momma than their own.

It sounds like your trio has a great dynamic relationship going.

They all love each other I think the daddy gets off lucky because between the both of them they are mommy on the spot.
