My poor little boy joey - whom I've named Leroy - passed away last night due to parent cannibalization. I had so hoped mom and dad would take him back, but unfortunately I think having two joeys to care for was just too much for them even if they wanted to.
It has hit me harder than I thought. I just can't believe it. I really became so attached to my little boy within just a day. And then to see him like that. It just broke my heart.
I hope to heaven you didn't suffer little one. Love you so so much! Glide free over the rainbow bridge baby! Your brother and I will see you again one day!
