since New Year, My Sugar Glider Teddy started to become sick. he first started with a swollen cheek. We took him to the only vet that specialize in small animals ( unfortunately we dont have a exotic vet in our area) and it was his first time seeing a Sugar Glider, nevertheless he gave us some eye drops. but it didnt help at all.
A few days later he became weak, unable to walk properly and almost at the edge of dying. which is weird because I've been giving him mixed of fruits and vegetables plus a Calcium Supplement and some days only Yogurt. we took him to the vet again at gave us some antibiotics and serum to regain energy.
Now he is a bit much better but still weak.

My question is: what can I give him so he can regain energy? I've tried with fruits mix and water and Honey with water aswell. please, any suggestion is welcome!

Your guy needs to have protein to besides the fruit and veggies.

You can give him cooked chicken, with no spices, scrambled eggs.

Hopefully you can find one that you can get all the ingredients for over there. Critterlove Original comes to mind as the Wambaroo powder is manufactured in your country.

Did the swelling ever go down in his cheek? Could he have a bad tooth?

he needs protein asap chicken egg yogurt they need daily protein yogurt will do for calcium approx. a half tsp for now well done scambled egg is good too with some cheese on it like cheddar or swiss cheese. you can look up the proven diets on this site too

Btw, Wambaroo powder comes from Australia. where I come from is Austria, Europe.

Unfortunately Teddy passed away during Midnight, seems like I was to late . We stayed with him the whole night so he was not alone.

Im not sure if I can post the link here, but if you google wombaroo, many glider sites sell it online, so you should be able to order it. Not sure what the mail laws there are though, i only know Korea and NY, USA.

If you order it, it may take time to get to you if it gets stopped but if you think it is the right thing to add to the diet, then try it. It seems rom most posts your glider needs protein. I would try to add more ASAP

There are many alternative diets though. I believe diet will be hyperlinked from me saying it in this post, but i would suggest looking into one that you could shoppe for locally.

BML is pretty easy to make and find ingredients for except the supplements that cannot be substituted may be had to find in your area. You most likely wont have a problem ordering them on amazon though.
