I have a homemade pvc cage, and in it a side mounted stealth wheel. I am going to be getting a second glider safe wheel. I was looking at a custom cruiser, but I think it would be too beavy for the mesh. Those of you with homemade cages: what wheels do you have, and how are they attached? Any favorite wheels?

Could you not set it on the floor, on a wheel stand? I am asking as I don't know how your cage is configure, but I have a metal cage and I still have the wheel on a stand on the floor of the cage.

Some wheels are too heavy, as I mentioned. It would probably stretch the mesh.

Shelly pointed out I could work it into the pvc frame. I have an open socket in one of the connectors for just such a thing smile
