So one of my gliders I've had almost a year just got up for the night. He crawled out of his pouch slowly and up my arm but then shook and jumped around my arm and seemed like he was having a sneezing fit. Almost like he had breathed something in and was really bothered by it. It lasted about 5 seconds. I put him in his cage and he's eating and running around like normal. Has anyone seen their glider do anything like that before? I have no problem taking him to the vet immediately if he needs a visit. He and his brother already have wellness exams set up for next Wednesday.

Were you wearing a new perfume or using different detergent, soap or lotion?

You could call you vet clinic and have them tell the vet what happened.

Without personally seeing this behavior I really can't say what he was doing.

He could be sick, could have been sneezing to start grooming or got a snootful of something that tickled his nose.

I really try not to use anything if i know i'm going to be picking them up but i suppose it's possible. I'll watch to see if he does it again but it's weird it's the first time. I'm sure i've had lotion or perfume on in the past. I'm thinking maybe he did get something in his nose. Would there be any other reasons for it?
