I have no experience with joeys, sorry, but I had to comment on how precious Ripley is, so sweet! Anyway, wishing him well and that you get the answers you need soon.

When mom and dad start letting him venture out he will slowly transition to what your adult gliders are eating.
I would stay away from Suncoast joey stuff.
