I wouldn't worry about it unless you don't plan on keeping him. Mom will let him know in no uncertain terms when she has had enough of his nursing. sounds like he's a momma's boy

Excellent. Thanks. I'm keeping him. He goes next week for his pre neutering vet visit to assess if he's ready. The wee bollock has just filled and he now officially weighs 64grams.
