I just found a Glider dead, rigor seemed mostly set in so he died most likely some time this morning. I don't know where the best place is to send him for a necropsy for both research purposes as well as finding out what happened. Thank you in advance.
Oh, I should add he's in the fridge now. I know not to freeze him.

Yes, your vet can do the gross necropsy and send the tissues out for testing.

I am sorry for your loss. Have your vet send the tissues (if your vet does the necropsy) here: Zoo Exotic Pathology If your vet does not want to do the necropsy, he can also send the entire body in and Zoo Exotic will do the gross necropsy and the Histo. They are very skilled in sugar gliders.
