My husband and I are attempting our first breeding Trio. We have 3 beautiful pieds picked out: Male pied and two twin sisters- all aprox. 7 weeks old. Since breeding is more my husbands hobby and I just like cuddling them he's agreed to let me get a pet only male who is 5 months old and will be neutered- so my question is- Having a neutered male in the cage with the breeding trio shouldn't cause any issues, correct? I was told that he would actually help out a little bit once we have joeys.

Also- all of these gliders are from the same breeder (coi, kinship, all checks out) so he will do introductions before we receive them.

Any advice on breeding is welcome, i'm very open to any and all information.

Thank you!

I don't know, there are people that say breeding trios are risky and the moms could get jealous and try to steal or even kill the others joeys.

As far as adding a neutered male to the mix, it would be better to keep one of the male joeys and neuter him and leave him with the family.
