Hey guys...
Aria is putting on weight and eating well, but she's filthy.
Since the last mom incident I have not had her in the cage with daddy either...been afraid to.
Is there a process for hand cleaning rejected joeys?

Thanks!
Dave

Yes, there is a way to clean up Miss Messy Pants, however, she may not like it. Most children don't like baths and will argue they don't need one until they are actually in there having a ball, getting all clean ...........

Then comes the time to GET OUT IN THE COLD AIR shock

Oh, you want to know how to do this? DO NOT dunk Sweet Aria in a bowl of warm water so she can play. Cause she won't shakehead

Take a very nice soft WARM washcloth (in a nice warm place) and gently massage her to try and get some of that gunk off her sweet little bod.

When you're finished with that process (don't over do it the first time because she probably isn't going to like it at all) take a nice warm DRY cloth and make sure you get her completely dry. This is VERY IMPORTANT. Then put her in a nice clean warm comfy pouch so she can hopefully groom herself a little more.

The best time to do this is immediately after she eats before the food dries on her IF you can. Once it dries it is harder to get off her.
