I have 2 female gliders and one neutered male who all reside in the same housing. The two females have been together since they were both very young (going on 4 years) and the little male was introduced a while later. There has never been a problem or a fight until this past Friday night. I heard excessive crabbing and it didn't sound like the normal crabbing they occasionally do so I went up to check on them to find the two females fighting. The male was staying away from them. One female was very aggressive while the other was trying to get away. They rolled in a ball crabbing like crazy. I immediately removed the aggressive one. There were no injuries so I gave them a few minutes and attempted to put them back together but the aggressive one went after the other one again. Their housing is one double sized cage connected to a single size cage so I closed off the connection and have kept them separated. They get out nightly for playtime but now it has to be separately. The male gets along with both of the girls and neither of them have any type of problem with him. I have been testing the girls each night to see how they behave towards each other and last night the tables seemed to have turned. The aggressive female was not aggressive any longer but the other female was going after her. This has never happened before and I honestly don't know what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Terri

How do they react to the wall ? I mean do talk to each other?

How many sleeping pouches are there to choose from?

Scenting marking while they are separated has happened. You may have to wash and wipe everything.

Try intros in the morning in the bathtub with a clean sleeping pouch. And maybe a tiny bit of vanilla (for cooking) on each of their noses before their intros.

Thank you for responding.
Their cage (actually was 2 cages combined) has 4 sleeping pouches... 2 in each cage.
Right now the original aggressive female acts as though the other female isn't there, but the originally unaggressive female has turned seemingly aggressive toward the other when she sees her. The tables have turned. She is absolutely fine with the neutered male, but goes after the female. Both girls get along well with the male and he with both of them.
I cleaned both cages completely this weekend. They are all clear on their fecals. I will do the bath tub get together and see how that goes. That's how I originally introduced all three.
Thank you again for responding.

It is possible that the argument that you broke up was a change in the dominance structure.

How many feeding stations do you put out and was their food in there already for the night?
