I put this here with caution. Please read through the whole thread before making your choice.

The calcium to phosphorus ratio is way off according to this thread.

A good diet is vital to the health and well being of sugar gliders.

Thank you for asking! Mushroom season is just around the corner here. I might have had that question myself in a few weeks...

First I am going to ask what diet you are feeding. I feed the Critterlove diets with the recommended salad mixtures and I will chop up raw white mushrooms for them.

They are a good source of vitamin D.

If you are feeding BML, no you cannot feed mushrooms, you must stick to the fruits and veggies on the list.

Critterlove Plus, Complete and Original are all fine for mushrooms. Original aka OHPW.

White mushrooms are fine. I urge you to not number crunch when it comes to dinners. Provided you are feeding well rounded meals, you needn't get too wrapped up in the ratios.

I have fed mine the different types of mushrooms thru the years, but just as treats. And for the most part, they were throw out, the kids just didn't like them.
I read the past posts that was advised to read, I don't know if you would be able to offset the cal to phos ratio when it comes to mushrooms, unless you fed nothing but calcium for a night, & add the mushrooms with it. But if the kids aren't going to eat them, then an all calcium meal wouldn't be good, either.
I do agree with not paying that much attention to ratios, as to look at the fruit & veggie as a whole. We used to think spinach was a really good veggie to feed, maybe the best, but what is in spinach itself only allows 10-20% of its nutrients out.
The more green something is doesn't always mean it is healthier.
I feed, for the most part, the critterlove diets. My only difference is that I don't feed them any berries. They won't eat any type of berry. I use apples, pears, peaches, mangoes, papayas, (melons).
They won't touch regular bok choy, but there is never hardly ever any baby bok choy left in the morning. go figure
There isn't as much trial & error anymore, With all the good fruit & veggie meals out there, just find what the kids will eat, & if it's to be used as a treat, then that is how it should be fed.
