So the vet told me after 3 days (i had him neutered) i could take the collar off and see how he does. Collar came off he was fine for a little bit and then he attacked the incision site. Before i could snatch him back up he tore a chunk and is bleeding. I got ahold of him, put the ecollar back on, the bleeding seems to have stopped. So im just panicked...my husband has him in a suggie burrito so we can keep an eye on bleeding etc...suggestions or help? I plan on calling his vet as soon as they are open too.

Update: Bleeding has come to a complete stop. He took some treats and made happy glider sounds. Hes now running around his travel cage.

Seeing as he has stitches, he is going to have to be in an ecollar or and ejacket until the stitches come out.

He will continue to go after it because when he starts grooming he discovers that it is different and it is their nature to get rid of stuff that is different.

Please keep us posted on his progress.

I am moving this to Health & Hygiene.
