Hello everyone, I've been a suggie owner for 5 years now. About a year ago, I lost my male Jack at the age of 4 unexpectedly due to complications at the vets office for a minor infection. My female, Sally, grew extremely depressed and I had no choice but to purchase another male as soon as possible (she had stopped eating and playing all together). I was in a rush, and therefore purchased an intact male (he was around 6 months at the time and she was 4). They bonded quickly and are inseparable now. He is now 1 and a half and she is currently 4 and a half. My vet told me to wait until he was a bit older to get him neutered, so I did. And it seems I waited too long unfortunately. I've been noticing signs in my female's behaviour such as she's more crabby, and her appetite has increased dramatically. She has always been pretty chubby, so I never really noticed any physical signs but she was in an 'angle' yesterday and I noticed a big lump! Is she pregnant!??? If so, how far along do you think she is!? If she's pregnant, my plan is to keep the baby (if it's a male I am going to get him neutered) and I am going to neuter the father as soon as possible. I have chosen to keep the baby and have them live as a family colony together. Can anyone tell me if they think she's pregnant though? I haven't really seen any movement in the pouch or anything but she has been more reserved, she won't let me touch her much so I can't really inspect properly. So, what do you guys think!? 1. http://tinypic.com/r/24exv2q/9 2. http://tinypic.com/r/34ezyo2/93. http://tinypic.com/r/2a5gcnb/9

I would say she is preggers. You will know when the joey is close to being OOP as body parts will start showing. I would get your male neutered now, as females go into heat when the joey comes OOP. He can go right back in with the female after the neuter, my vet does pom off with a laser and it is easy peasy and they go right back in with their buds. I would give them an extra serving of their veggies and staple as she is producing milk. Keep us posted on their progress and feel free to ask as many questions as you need too.

It usually means just one joey, but then they both could be laying on one side. I would wait until you see body parts.
