So we got the 4th little girl on Saturday and named her Roxy. Short for Pop Rocks because he's like a wild child. Jumps off u, runs all over, climbs all over, is afraid of u, is loud and crabbing all the time, etc. Hopefully in time she'll calm down like Kara and Lilo. We had no problem introducing her with the other little girl, Yuki, who we got the weekend before. In fact, we put them all together this weekend in the tent and with intros and the fell asleep on one another. The younger girls were all over Kara and Lilo and they didn't seem to mind.

Roxy when I first held her before we brought her home smelled like a skunk for a few minutes. She's been letting off the skunk smell here and there at home as well. I had the petstore check her over and over and even checked her myself again yesterday (no pom pomp, has a pouch slit). None of the other girls have made this skunk smell before. Is it normal for females to have this smell too?

Gliders, mostly joeys can skunk. They do this when they are scared, it is a defense mechanism.

It is poof, you smell it and it is gone.

Would females be able to do this too though?

Ahh, ok. I was worried she was a hermaphrodyte. :-) She's different than the other three. Way afraid of everything. Wants to jump off u at the first chance she can get, will jump into a flat wall when the other seem to know that's pointless. In the tent she climbs but her front claws hook on while her back legs don't seem to grasp on the netting. I think it's cause her nails were trimmed and they can't catch on netting. At least I hope. She runs around floor or tent with hops like a rabbit kinda. I think she's ok, just maybe cause she hasn't had human social interaction except with us. Hoping she'll calm down like Lilo & Kara have.
