A couple of weeks ago, I had the girls in the livingroom of the camper, feeding them mealies and playing human tree.

They were getting tired of jumping back and forth between me, hubby and the couch, so I sat down, got comfy in my recliner with "our" favorite fleece blanket. Fiona joined me and Dot headed for the bedroom door to go back to the cage (like she always does when she is tired). About half way there, she turned and looked at me like "well, you gonna take me to my cage, our do I have to go by myself!?". So I told her I was tired too after working, and she could go by herself. She just stood there (on all four feet ), her back to me, head facing me. Then for the first time ever, she turned around, climbed in my lap, under our favorite blanket she went, and found Fiona. Curled up and took a nap.

Dot never wants to spend time witb us after play. She will hang out with me, but if she has a choice, she prefers her bed.

Just a warm fuzzy moment... It's the one and only time she has done this...

That's so sweet! My gliders have never curled up to nap with me, but I can hope someday... smile

It's easy actually. I wait till after they eat dinner, (major potty poo done for a bit) .

Sometimes I want to spend time with them whether they like it or not. While in nap mode, I pluck them sleeping pouch and all, sit down to watch TV, put pouch in my lap, cover us up.

Fiona comes out and crawls all over exploring under cover, peeks out occaaionally, and then finds a fold or wrinkle in blanket and naps.

Dot usually stays in pouch but sometimes will March right out, and head for her cage to the other sleeping pouch.
