I currently have a male glider and I am looking for him a female. He is about 5 years old. Is it safe to introduce him to a female joey or should I find a female around his age before I introduce them?

I think an older male like yours would more than likely overwhelm a joey. If it were me I would look for a female as close to his size as possible.

I have a 3 year old male that was just introduced to a 7 month old female. When put face to face the female hissed at him and raised both of her arms and he turned away in submission. Since then she has been the boss. Not sure about a younger female than mine but males tend to be non-aggressive when it comes to females.
